QA Analyst Vs Test Analyst

QA Analyst
QA Analyst is responsible for the entire process of the end to end test plan/process and making sure that the solution is as expected.  He should monitor the process and methods used to ensure the quality. QA should not  just restrict to testing, where testing is just a part of the software development. He is responsible for the processes that include:
1.       Gathering of requirements
2.       software design, coding
3.       Configuration management
4.       Testing and
5.       Release management.

Test Analyst
Tester role is incorporated within the QA role. All QA’s can be test analysts but not all the test analysts can be QA Analyst. Test Analyst role is to:
1.       Analyse and  understand the requirements(BRS/SRS/FRS).
2.       Design and execute the test cases.
3.        Raise the bugs when the actual result is not equal to the expected result.

4.       Track the bugs until closure by liaising to the BA and dev team.
